For guests in the Banff, Calgary, Canmore, and Lake Louise areas, the Upper Bow River offers the chance to be surrounded by majestic mountain peaks while pursuing wily Brown Trout, Bull Trout and Mountain Whitefish.

 

Two sections of the Bow River are fished, both just outside Canada's Banff National Park.

Just minutes south of Calgary, the Lower Bow River is recognized as a true Blue Ribbon fishery. The Rainbow and Brown Trout that inhabit this section of the river are world renown for their willingness to take the fly, aggressive runs and size.

Novice and experienced fly fishers are all welcome. In fact, a lot of our guests are new to the sport or fly fish only a few times each year.
