The Lower Bow River is renowned for it's hard fighting and abundant fish in fly-fishing circles around the world. The fish pursued and caught here are; Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, Bull Trout, and Whitefish. With an abundant food source (aquatic and insect) the fish here get big! It's not un-common to see the backing on your reel many times during a float down this section of river as a Rainbow or Brown takes your fly.
